Amelie's Rainbow

Donation protected
Amelie's Rainbow was set up by 10 year old Amelie to raise money for various children's cancer charities following her own illness.
In March 2017 our normally very fit and healthy 10 year old daughter started complaining of headaches, which were accompanied with intermittent vomiting. In early April 2017 Amelie was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour and was immediately transferred to The Noah's Ark Children's Hospital in Cardiff (the only Children's Hospital in Wales) for emergency surgery to remove the tumour.
Surgery went well and Amelie Has completed a gruelling six week course of radiotherapy, which will shortly be followed by nine months of chemotherapy.
Since diagnosis we have been staggered by the level of NHS care and the phenomenal charitable support offered to families and children dealing with cancer.
Shortly after diagnosis, Amelie came out with the statement 'Challenge Accepted' and decided to help other children and their families in the same situation, hence the creation of the charitable fund "Amelie's Rainbow".
100% of all monies raised will go to "Noah's Ark Children's Hospital" and their supporting children's cancer charities. All activities and merchandise is being completely funded by our family, wonderful friends and Amelie's fabulous teachers and staff from Redhill Preparatory School, meaning that every penny donated by you will go directly to the charities mentioned.
Amelie has inspired us all to accept the challenge of cancer and to come to terms with "our new normal". We thank you all for your best wishes, love and support.
