American Classic Christmas is a free Christmas celebration to bring back the magic of a community coming together just to enjoy the season and each others company. Christmas should be a time when we come together, let go of the worries of the day and just enjoy the of beauty of life.
We decided we would do an event that is a throw back to a simpler time. We decorate the center of our town with Christmas lights and then have a Christmas celebration that is completely free to all. We serve hot chocolate and coffee. Santa visits with the kids and they always get a special surprise. The children pick candy canes from Magical Candy Cane trees and get to take pictures with the Ginger Bread Gang.
We don't allow anything to be sold. It is a commerce free event. We never want anyone to feel that they cannot enjoy the whole experience because of money.
We also don't accept donations at the event. We want all who attend to just feel the beauty of community togetherness at Christmas time.
Families are blessed because no matter how large or small their family they can relax and just enjoy.
The funds we receive from this campaign will go to more lighting and decorations to make it an even more beautiful experience for all who come to our city.
Please help us bring the spirit of Christmas and to bless our town!
