Story: In 2015 Amy was diagnosed with a rare lymphoma that was terminal! She had 3-6 months to live but with prayer and a life change that included diet, supplements, and a completely revamped outlook on health, the Lord healed Amy of this disease. The cancer took a terrible toll on the family's finances but much good has come from her experience.  Many who have struggled and who are currently struggling with cancer have contacted Amy for help and support.  Many times they have been told by their doctor that there is nothing that can be done for them. Amy has counseled them spiritually and has helped many begin living a healthier life to aid in their own fight with cancer. Amy also is a Christian singer/songwriter/harpist who shares the love of Christ with hundreds of churches in North America and Ireland. Early in 2016 some friends from Florida asked if we would be open to having a gofundme page.  We agreed and allowed the page to be formed.  Below was the original story  by Kelli Van Pelt.  We have been blessed by all who have contributed and we are continuing to allow donations for expenses and ministry. THANK YOU to all who have been involved in our ministry and health journey! - Gary and Amy

From: Kelli Van Pelt
Hello Church - As many of you know, last October our dear sister and friend Amy Shreve was unexpectedly diagnosed with double-hit lymphoma.  Since that time she, Gary and Elise have struggled deeply before the Lord, going through many medical appointments and treatments--including a near-death seizure when her sodium dropped too low--spending hours and hours in prayer, researching their best treatment options and all the while maintaining an incredibly uplifting Christian witness.

Prior to the diagnosis, Gary and Amy dedicated their incredible musical gifts for God's glory, for many years traveling the country and overseas to lead worship for Voice of the Martyrs.  That whole time they have trusted God to bring in enough income through their CD sales on the road, which they supplemented with Gary's considerable house renovation skills.   At this time the reality of their situation is that Amy's cancer and treatment regimen has radically diminished their ability to maintain an income through both these means while simultaneously skyrocketing their personal and medical expenses.

Please pray for them in their time of need, the same way they have so faithfully prayed for us and lead us into the Father's presence.

If you feel lead, know that any financial gift made through this page will directly bless them!
