On July 14th, 2019, the Vann family suffered a devastating loss. Johnny Vann, a loving father of seven, heroically gave his life to rescue two of his children who were drowning at Wrightsville Beach in North Carolina.
Johnny was known to his family and friends as a pillar of jovial spirit. His smile could light up any room and was guaranteed to put a smile on your face. His family recently moved to North Carolina to secure a better quality of life and was excited for the start of a new chapter.
He leaves to cherish his loving wife, his seven children, three brothers, father, and sister. Please help our family cover the unexpected loss of their father, helping with relocation expenses, potential grief counseling, and bringing Johnny back home to Detroit, Michigan to be laid to rest.
Our family is extremely grateful for any financial support and words of encouragement. Nothing is too small or insignificant, so please feel free to share stories and pictures of Johnny! Thank You.
Sincerely,
The Vann Family
