Help Refugees in Deir Ballout camp
Donation protected
Bab Al-Shams is a nonprofit organization that focuses mostly on supporting the refugees wherever they are in addition to increasing the cultural life.
Bab Al-Shams is based in both Sweden and Greece, currently we are more active in Greece as a greater need for intervention is there.
The situation in Northern Syria right now is completely bad affecting families who have fled from Southern Syria escaping the ongoing war.
Our help right now is about providing all support we can offer to these people in the coming cold winter.
After our participation and joining many cultural and relief activities with the Palestinian refugees in south Damascus especially, and the camps and areas of presence of Palestinian refugees in Syria in general
We decided to focus on the Deir Ballut refugee camp for Palestinians through activists on the ground in the northern Syrian camp.
The team consists of six people:
Which is a team experienced in voluntary work (relief, humanitarian work, and media)
as a result of their involvement with a number of humanitarian and media organizations and in difficult circumstances during the seven years of siege in south Damascus and the bloody war in the region
The team is ready to help and has already begun some psychological support activities for children through sport and distribution of leaflets of disease and hygiene awareness under the tragic situation of refugees tents and residential areas which are not eligible.
First phase:
The children will be first to receive winter clothes then women and seniors-
Second phase:
Winter needs will be distributed to all families (fuel - clothing...)
We will try to provide support so that the psychological support program for children and women continues-
Start a program to support and empower women within the camps and improve the family standard of living-
