Anna Stone Recovery Fund

This page is to help support a young woman and amazing mother I have had the privlage of calling my friend, Anna Stone and her little girl Mellisa, they were in a horrific car accident last week and Anna is in critical condition at the moment with a long road of recovery in front of her. Last week on her way home she was traveling a less frequently used back road in Justin when a bad tire on her vehicle blew out causing the vehicle to swerve sideways off the road, into a ditch then into a fence causing her car flip over and land in the pasture. Thankfully, of course, Anna was wearing her seatbelt and Mell was buckled into her car seat or else both of them would have been ejected from the vehicle. Anna was knocked unconscious during the accident and awoke to find that her daughter was not in the car with her and not knowing where she was ,naturally her first instinct is to look for her daughter.  Mellisa,  having been raised so well and a strong little girl had released herself from her car seat in an effort to get to her mother, once she realized she could not wake her mother she started out to the road in an attempt to find help . Anna also freed herself unknown to her at the time just how badly she was injured but had to find her daughter, she sufferred a fractured skull, fractured vertabra, broken collar bone and fore arm yet she did not allow any of this to stop her from looking for her little girl. She was able to find Mellisa walking around and with it being only 16 degrees outside and being in an open pasture exposed to the elements she did everything she could to keep herself and her daughter safe and warm but was unable to stay conscious for any length of time. Mell,  being the smart little girl she is, started walking close to the road in an attempt to find help.  After an hour has passed an elderly couple happend to pass by and found Mell by the road, also seeing the car flipped over and headlights still on stopped to help her. Anna is now in ICU with her condition classified as critical but stable and little Mell was given a clean bill of health thank the Lord, but the recovery time for Anna is going to be very hard and long. As a single mother she works very hard to take care of herself and her daughter on her own and never hesitates to help anyone that's in need in anyway that she can, when I was having a hard time she gave me a place to live with my baby boy without hesitation, she truly is a remarkable young woman and mother that does not deserve this tragedy in the least. We, her friends and family, are asking for help to raise funds for her medical and living expenses seeing as she will not be able to work anytime in the near future, any and all help and prayers will be more than greatly appreciated.
