Annie & Tinka's Care Fund

My sister, Diane Bailey, recently had surgery last December to fuse several vertebrae in her neck.  We ran a GoFundMe campaign to help cover the costs of her precious Annie and Tinka's care in the kennel during her hospitalization and recovery.  Unfortunately, during her convalescence Diane fell critically ill with GI issues that caused her to be re-hospitalized on December 28th.  We learned she required a partial removal or her large intestine.   Due to her fragile health status and multiple complicated health risks, the surgeons at Mid Coast Hospital deemed her too high risk to do the surgery in Brunswick.  We waited for over two weeks to get transferred to Maine Medical Center where she was finally able to get the life-saving surgery she needed this past Monday.  She is now beginning the slow process of recovery and will remain inpatient for another week before being transferred to a rehab facility for several weeks before being able to go home.  

Diane lives on a fixed budget and has run out of funds to pay for the cost of Annie and Tinka's care .  We are hoping that friends who want to help and other devoted animal lovers will find it in their hearts to help Diane with this.  These two pups are her emotional lifeline, her best friends, and a very big part of her reason to get better and keep fighting to get well.  Every dollar counts and I will say thank you from the bottom of my heart for any help that can be given.  These adorable pups play a huge role in my sister's emotional well-being and we will be grateful for any help.  Thank you.
