"A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops." -Albert Einstein
Anne Lessing Woodrick was an inspiring mother, teacher, artist, coach, leader, fighter, and friend. On October 25th, she passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family, but her whole-hearted spirit stays with us.
Over the last 18 months, Annie's courageous battle with pancreatic cancer brought life and what matters most vividly into focus for all those around her.
Annie leaves behind a legacy rich with passion and purpose. Nowhere did her passion make more of an impact than in the classroom.
As a 5th grade teacher at Pond Road Middle School and coach, Mrs. Woodrick (as she was known) was a beloved figure in the lives of thousands of students whose contributions to the world will always be tied back to their favorite teacher.
Annie's family, friends, and colleagues will be establishing a memorial scholarship fund in her name that will ensure her legacy of creativity, leadership, support, and dedication lives on forever. All funds donated to this site will be directed toward this scholarship fund.
Annie touched many, many lives during her all-to-short time with us. Please consider helping us continue her legacy.
