Anthony Rechner Medical Fund
Donation protected
On Halloween 2014, Anthony Rechner was in a terrible motorcycle accident. Anthony flew off of his bike and hit a pole. At the time of the accident Anthony lost his right arm. Luckily Anthony was wearing his helmet. His pelvic area, his legs and his whole lower half did not survive. Anthony immediately went into surgery after he was life flighted to the hospital. The next day Anthony’s legs and pelvic area were taken from him. He now has no legs, no pelvic area and no right arm. Doctors say they are amazed that he is even alive after a crash like this. Anthony is the youngest person to have had this surgery and survive and still be alive. He is still currently on life support and really needs our help. Anthony has been in surgery basically every day since the accident. He will continue to have many surgeries right now. His life will never be same and he will need extensive medical care for the rest of his life. Right now he has a 50 % chance of living compared to a 10% chance when he first arrived at the hospital. He is slowly getting better but he is still in severe critical condition and anything could still happen. Right now he is hanging on for his life. He has a beautiful 18 month old son, Christopher Anthony Rechner, whom he adores very much. All Anthony ever wanted was to watch his son grow up and to take care of him. Anthony will need to be taken care of for the rest of his life. We started this page in hopes that we can reach 1 million people for 1 million prayers. If each person who likes our page could donate $1 anonymously and share our page it can go a long way. If we can get everyone to share our page and donate $1 or any amount which you would like for Anthony’s medical bills, our family would greatly appreciate it.
