Apartment Collapse

My sister is a Sophomore at UNT. On Sunday at 1:30 AM, her upstairs neighbors had a party, like usual. All 4 girls happened to be out of the apartment, and like thousands have seen on social media, the people at the party decided to take things too far. The ceiling of their apartment was known to shake at times due to these parties, and the police had been notified multiple times that the girls "feared that the ceiling wouldnt hold up" to the weight of 50-60 poeple dancing and jumping in such a small space. Like they feared, the floor to the 3rd floor apartment caved in and a group of people from the party fell down into her apartment. Videos were posted of people stomping and pushing it down all the way, slowly destroying everything in the living room underneath. To make things worse, pipes were busted and sprinklers went off, ruining anything that remained intact. My sister recieved a housing scholorship and was working to pay for her things on her own. With no renters insurance, she is now faced with replacing all of her belongings. Clothing, appliances, electronics and and school work/books and photos are just a few of the things that she will need to start over.
