Landon's Road to Recovery

Donation protected
Please help support our fellow classmates, friends, and one of our Noble families who is needing some love. Right now, Landon and Autumn cannot work which is hard when it comes to medical bills, nutrition, medication, new housing arrangements to be wheel chair accessible,  the many new items that Landon will need for himself, and that they will need for their baby.  Read their story below. We are asking for prayers, donations, and support from all. Thank you!

-This is Autumn and Landon's story-

We need strength and prayers!

The day Landon Buss and I got married was a special day, I remember how hectic it was from my sister forgetting the string to the back of her dress, to sneaking into the bathroom around the corner from my dressing room to make sure Landon didn't see me.

Next thing I know, I'm walking down the isle I see Landon and all I could do was make eye contact with him! Everyone else faded away. We said our vows and I meant EVERY word.

On June 6 was a hard day for us...
You never expect to see your husband in unbearable pain or ask him to look at you, to not go unconscious. You never expect to have to call an ambulance or feel fear with such intensity you weep.

Landon was shot through both his feet, his gun fell going off. I heard the sound of the gun and smelt smoke, I turn around to Landon ca-lapsing on the floor.

I call an ambulance and grab his hand asking him to "just look at me" " don't look down" I see his blood, I'll never be able to not see the person I love bleeding on our floor. He tells me " you need to stop the bleeding".

I grab towels to wrap around his legs to make a tourniquet, but I know I can't tie them tight enough. I grabbed shoelaces from his shoes and wrap them as tight as I can!

I hear the ambulance coming, and I continue to hold his hand. I hear them and run to the porch and wave my hands hoping that they will see me and stop!

They come in and are surprised by the amount of blood that Landon has lost on the floor.

They load him into an ambulance and take him to St Anthony's. Since the 6th of June he has had 3 surgeries, and will have another  surgery Thursday the 14th of June. The surgery is to have a skin graft done,. This may not be the last and there may be many surgeries ahead of us! But we are strong in our faith and are believing in a miracle.

Landon and I are expecting  our first child and we love our little baby already! Landon wants to be able to go to Dr appointments and to one day walk our baby around in his arms. But his recovery length at this time is a year, if not more!
