Arcadia Apartment Fire Victim Fund
Donation protected
On Thursday morning, August 3rd, at about 6:00 am, we woke up to people screaming, "Fire!" and pounding on our front doors. Our amazing neighbors helped make sure everyone was able to safely evacuate at our apartment complex in Arcadia, CA, including children, the elderly, and the disabled.
Fire stations from at least four cities came to help, and several firefighters suffered exhaustion from the heat.
We all watched from the parking lot, as the large fire ravaged one out of two buildings in the apartment complex, leaving half of our neighbors and friends homeless.
Now, when some of us, who still live in the other building, walk out our front doors, we see a very depressing sight: a red-flagged building stands empty and charred, a sign of our suffering friends who are no longer there to wave hello or pay a visit.
We would like to help our friends by raising funds for the people who lived in the damaged building. The money will go towards temporary housing, replacing belongings, and any other lost funds due to the hardship and stress of the fire.
Our friends need our help! Please donate if you can!
