Vedic Meditation Initiator Training

The moment I heard the rich and brilliant stories from my meditation teacher about his experience on Initiator Training, I knew exactly why I wasn't meant to go to a 4-year university. THIS, I told myself, was going to be my education and career. He was already speaking my language before I even learned how to meditate when we both expressed our conviction that the Kingdom of Heaven is within! So, how does one get to that Kingdom? With meditation, of course. What better gift to teach my friends, family and the rest of the world than the simplest way to access that Kingdom, Bliss, Home to us all...?
I've been meditating for a year now - twice a day every day (well, I can count on maybe 2 hands how many meditations I've missed) - and I can already write a novel on all the ways it's helped me grow; spiritually and mentally, making me more adaptable and receptive to where/how I'm needed to help others on a daily basis. And my motivation to get to teacher training has only expedited that growth!
I know this is a huge chunk to ask for in a fundraiser for such a short period of time. A deposit is due on the 20th of this month (October) and the rest of the course fee is due on the 20th of December. As a final hoorah, I'm going to hold a last-minute fundraiser for my birthday on December 15th.
The course is about 3 months long and going to be held in Rishikesh, India in 2016 from January 20th 'til April 13th. This is an AMAZING excuse for me to start traveling the world - a dream of mine since childhood. This career itself is also a great excuse for me to travel! Actually, I've never come across such a career path that seriously answers all my dreams and desires.
And it may answer yours, as well. Here's where you come in...
If you donate $300, I initiate you into Vedic Meditation as soon as I get back from India.
If you donate $1,000, I initiate you *and* give you a mantra upgrade a year from when you're initiated.
Donate $500 and I'll teach you and your spouse.
For smaller donations under $300 and over $50, get in touch with me about any special requests you'd like me to bring back from India for you.
If you do decide to donate in exchange for meditation, in just 4 days you'll become an expert meditator and will have, not only me, but the entire rest of the Vedic Meditation community to help you along your meditation practice and journey!
And here's my vow to myself in order to raise this money in time: I'm saying yes to every opportunity to work (right now I'm juggling 2 part-time jobs plus picking up odd jobs), I'm only spending money on groceries and not going out to eat and I'm not spending any money on alcohol. Friends may hold me accountable.
If I don't make the course fee on time, please have at least 12 bottles of wine and a hot bath ready for me, including some extra towels and tissues to help clean up any blood, sweat and tears.
Just kidding. Sorta.
