Maricela’s road to recovery after surgery

My name is Maricela, Back in June I was told I had a tumor, a huge shock, at 26 years old with no family history (that I am aware of) being told that I have a tumor in my head was overwhelming and crushing. Doctors explained that it was best that they removed it as soon as possible, due to me not having insurance i was second guessing continuing with appointments , the operation would be too much and I was way out of my mind to even think about it.    A week or so passed and I had decided to continue with the treatments and that I would find a way to pay for the surgery. The doctors had scheduled to do my surgery on July 25th 2019, so I thought it would give me enough time to gather some money. On July 1st 2019 on my way into a doctors appointment to finally talk  treatment and surgery details I suffered a seizure in the hospital parking lot and ended up hitting my head on the sidewalk edge. I was taken to the ER where they decided the operation would happen that day, everything after that is blank to me. An emergency surgery was done, and now I am in after surgery care. Knowing I wouldn’t be able to afford staying in the hospital I decided to have them discharge me, I am now making arrangements to have a nurse come in a couple days a week to check up on me. I am very thankful with all the staff and everyone that has looked after me. Thank you for all the prayers.

Mi nombre es Maricela, en Junio los doctores me informaron que tenía un tumor, fue algo muy inesperado, teniendo 26 años sin historia familiar (de que yo supiera) siendo informada que tengo un tumor en mi cabeza fue muy inesperado muy triste. Los doctores me explicaron que la mejor opción sería operarme lo más pronto posible, como yo tengo aseguranza médica pensé mucho en seguir asistiendo a mis citas médicas, la operación que necesitaba sería mucho más de lo que yo podría pagar. Paso una semana y decidí continuar con el tratamiento que los doctores decían que era necesario y que de una forma pagaría por la operación.   Los doctores y yo habíamos decidido que la operación sería el 25 de Julio, así ya me daria un poco de tiempo en poder salvar todo el dinero posible. Llego el primero de Julio y en camino a mi cita con el doctor para finalmente hablar de mi tratamiento y detalles de la operación tuve una convulsión en el estacionamiento del hospital donde sufrí un golpe en la banqueta. Fui llevada a Emergencias donde decidieron que la operación pasaría ese mismo dia. Tuve una operación de emergencia y ahora estoy en cuidados después de operación. Sabiendo que no iba a poder pagar quedarme en el hospital les pedí a los doctores que me dejaran ir a mi casa. En este momento estoy haciendo planes para que una enfermera pueda venir a mi casa unas cuantas veces a la semana para poder Ver que todo esté bien. Estoy muy agradecida con todos los doctores y empleados del hospital estuvieron pendiente de mi y mi salud. Muchas gracias a todos por sus oraciones.
