Army Veteran Anthony L. Williams

Donation protected

Army veteran Anthony L. Williams’s  last return to home base.

The family of Anthony Williams better know as “Luell” is asking for assistance for the return and final expenses of our dear loved one.
Anthony was a Honorable Veteran of the United States Army.  Anthony spent a year serving in combat in Kosovo and Afghanistan as well as multiple shorter deployments and tours of duty. Like many other service men and women he suffered from PTSD when he returned home from war.
The effects of PTSD are brutal and overwhelms the sufferer; physically as well as psychologically. Because of PTSD Anthony suffered from flashbacks, nightmares, and bouts of extreme depression. This left Anthony estranged from his family and only daughter, four years old at the time, for several years.
Anthony fought hard for nearly a decade, but like many others afflicted with PTSD, it proved too much and while he loved his family dearly to spare their pain, he became more estranged. Year after year his family devoted their lives attempting  to locate, rehabilitate and return Anthony back home to his daughter and family.
On June 26th his family received a call from the Miami Dade county homicide division with the devastating news that Anthony had passed away on June 3rd. The extent of time to find his family, the detectives reported was due to Anthony not having identification or contacts for his family on him at the time of his death. His remains, remain in the Miami Dade county’s corners department at this time.
Due to no burial insurance, to ensure an honorable return home and final rest, his family is asking for assistance shouldering the heavy burden of his final expenses. His final expenses entail;  returning his remains back home to North Carolina, cremation process, and memorial service.
We the family would like to thank each and everyone of you for any donation given, big or small, all prayers , calls, text, and any acts of kindness in our time of sorrow.
