Artist Alley Poster: Boston 2016

Hi. I'm Josh Dahl. If you know me, you probably know I am a big advocate for indie comics and local comics.
I recenetly began a project to help built excitement for local creators who will be appearing at comics events this summer in the Boston area.

I am asking local creators to contribute pieces of art which will then be combined into a single image, printed as a poster, and distributed to all of the contributors.
This will give fans a reason and a method to seek out, and engage with, local artists.

The artists are not getting paid. I am not getting paid. Nothing is being sold. I am planning to pay for all of this out-of-pocket because i think these creators deserve more attention. 

If you are a Boston comics creator who wants to get on board, start with our Facebook community.

But, it would be nice to have some of those printing costs covered. That's what I am asking for money to do. Print. If we get more money than we need to print, then we'll think about other cool ways to promote these artists. T-shirts? Special printings? Give-aways? I don't know.

If this works really well, it'll be a huge book for all of the artists involved, and that positive effect will ripple out through the whole indie comics community.
