Hello family and friends, our son Turi's death was unexpected. We were not prepared to deal w/ this kind of situation. Turi was shot on Father's day, June 16, 2019 in Delano, CA. Losing a son @ 19 years old is so hard to take in, especially taken by gun violence, we do not wish this upon no parent. We ask for your prayers and your help.
I, Jose Carrascal and Angelica Almaguer ask for your help in trying to cover this financial burden. God willing, we may be able to cover the cost of the funeral, expenses , and family hardships endured, during this difficult time of grieve.
Also, on behalf of the family we would like to thank you for all your support and fundraising donations. We want to make sure to keep our sons memory alive through a memorable and ongoing support to the community and help to deter gun violence towards innocent lives.
Please help fund the remembrance of Arturo Galvan. He was an amazing young man looking forward to starting his life on the right path. He seeked to strengthen his faith in God and accomplish his goals for a better life. He was always loving and willing to lend a hand and cared for all of his family dearly. Turi will be missed by his parents, grandparents, sisters, brothers, extended family and friends. Turi was looking forward to leaving for the Marines in November but his life was cut short on Fathers Day. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated. All funds raised will be used to help his grieving family.
