Elsipogtog, N.B- Legal Action Fund

All funds collected through this account will be used for legal expenses. The Elsipogtog grassroot leaders from the Kopit Lodge, local anti-fracking groups and elected leadership have all agreed to hire lawyer Bruce McIvor from First People's law firm. McIvor is an expert on Aboriginal title and constitutional duty to consult rights. We are confident that his work through First People's Law is credible and effective in regard to protection of Aboriginal, treaty and inherent rights.

In this case, we are specifically seeking a legal decision that will extinguish the ongoing work of the provincially approved shale gas exploration and hydraulic fracturing projects in New Brunswick.
