Ashley Alford's Medical fund

A few days ago, Ashley left the hustle-and-bustle of Washington DC to adventure out in the country where she suffered a rock-climbing fall that brought her to the intensive care unit. Ashley is an outgoing, radiant person whose smile warms those around her.  She has been a staple of the community where she runs her own business promoting health and fitness, acts as a personal trainer and is a yoga instructor at several studios. 

While bushwhacking at Rumney Rocks with her partner, Ashley fell 25 feet, fractured her skull and part of her spine.  With the assistance of 25 local rock climbers she was transported by medevac Helicopter to the closest Level 1 Trauma Center.

Ashley will be staying in the ICU at the Hospital in Lebanon, New Hampshire for an extended period of time, as she was placed in a medically-induced coma, and will need several surgeries and, subsequently, a long period of recovery.  She will require neurological and medical specialists, as well as one-on-one nursing care until stabilized.

We have set up this GoFundMe sight on behalf of Ashley to help cover these expenses while she is in the hospital. When she awakens, we want her to wake up to support, love and care. Her family and friends appreciate any monetary support that anyone is willing to offer, as well as your prayers for healing, wisdom for the treatment team and total comfort and support for Ashley and her family/friends.  We are all wishing her the best and hope for a full recovery. Ashley's prognosis and timeline are yet to be determined, but hopefully we can update those interested soon.
