The Santa Fe Dreamers Project is seeking sponsors for transgender asylum seekers who are currently being detained.
Jake and I are currently undergoing the vetting process for sponsorship and are expecting to have an asylum seeker matched with us within a matter of weeks. We will be responsible for their transportation and care for up to a year.
We have big hearts, but we will need help raising the money needed to help get this person on their feet following their release from the detention center.
