Hello! My name is Stephen Lambert and I am the founder and editor of Attic Inscriptions Online, https://www.atticinscriptions.com, a website which publishes English translations of the inscriptions of ancient Athens and Attica, making this crucial body of evidence for the city's history and life freely available to everyone with an internet connection, wherever they are in the world. The site attracts grant funding for some of its work, and is supported by a dedicated team of young volunteer translators, but we rely on financial contributions from our site visitors to cover the cost of server fees and domain name registration, and to help with the expenses of the behind-the-scenes  IT development, support and encoding work.
