Help Anna With Her Recovery

The last year has been a very difficult one for many people in our industry. We've come together and gone above and beyond to help fellow members through difficult times and this is no exception. My good friend Anna Humphris incurred a serious fracture to her leg while prepping a horse for the upcoming RUS Ontario season last week. Monday, Anna underwent reconstructive surgery to her tibia and will not be able to weight bear for a minimum of 3 months, followed by 3 months of physio. Like many of us, Anna is self employed, working alongside partner Mario Macri. Anyone who knows her knows she's tough as nails & does the job of 3 people in a day, caring for all the mares in foal, yearlings, as well as the racehorse stable, in addition to traveling to ride an break trotters when time permits. Physio, transport to and from and living expenses are not cheap when you're unable to work and without benefits. So, I was hoping we could come together, in effort to offer Anna some peace of mind as she embarks on her road to recovery. Every little bit helps!
