What’s better than having a sidekick when times get tough?

We’ve partnered with local nonprofits to work with kids experiencing homelessness in our community. We’ve learned that kids are in need of comfort, support, and stability during this stressful period of their lives.

We’re allowing kids to use their wildest imagination and draw their favorite imaginary friend or animal. They pick the colors and the fabrics, and we turn them into stuffed animals!

We are designing, creating, and authoring each part of the package.

For $25, you can sponsor a child’s complete Sidekicks’ package containing:

A stuffed animal unique to each kid!
- Original drawing
- Storybook
- Backpack
- Crayons
- Sewing kit for repairs


We want to impact as many kids as we can and share our work at conferences, workshops, and journals. That’s where you come in.

This money will help us cover:

- Fabric, dye, and other sewing costs
- Printing and shipping books
- Crayons
- Sewing kits
- Final presentation materials, prints, process books
- Thank you gifts for all our partners
- Conference travel expenses to NYC! (flights, hotels, food,etc.)
- Conference materials

About the Team:

Some may know us as “The Three Amigos,” “The husband, wife, and maid-of-honor,” or just simply Andy, Macy, and Jamie. We are three best friends who each met our first year of college and have been partners in crime ever since.

Fun fact — each of us still sleeps with our own sidekick!
