Autism Awareness Month
I've been blessed to meet and form so many amazing relationships with kids and families that have been affected by autism! Back in high school, every year I would serve in an event called Mason Challenger League. For 3 weeks in October, every Tuesday night our baseball and softball programs would put on a camp for local kids with autism.
Being able to make so many unforgettable memories playing and teaching the game I love is truly a blessing and tremendously humbling. Since getting drafted to play professional baseball for the Boston Red Sox, I've spent most of my professional career in Fort Myers, Florida. For Autism Awareness month, I wanted to raise money and donate it to a local non-profit called Family Initiative.
Want to join me in making a difference? Any donation will help make an impact but bringing more attention to this disease is just as important! Thanks in advance for your help towards this cause that means so much to me.
