Autumn's Fight Against Rare Cancer
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Taylor and my mother is Autumn here's her story.
My mom became very sick in June of 2016 she came very close to death because the hospital could not find out what was wrong with her so we took her to another hospital and found out it was the dangerous Mold Intoxiaction that almost killed her. She has been on more than 3 rounds of antibiotics and several rounds of steroids. 3 pages of foods she can not eat like yeast products or certain types of meat depending on the weather.. wierd right?
She has lost more than 20 pounds because she is weak, when she does try and eat those foods it does not settle well and blood comes out. Her nose started clogging and non stop running in late June, every time she would try to blow it blood would come out or nasty snot. She would not feel better, I don't even remember what her actual vocie sounds like because she is so stuffed.
Late October she went to a 2nd ENT Doctor and found a massive tumor in the right side of her nose. This is her second time with cancer she had stage 3 skin cancer in 2007. The type of cancer she has now is called Mucosa Melanoma and is a very rare cancer. Only 1 in 25 million people are diagnosed with this. On Monday she will be going in for a PET Scan to see if the cancer has spread anywhere else. We are praying that it hasn't but she will be starting Chemotherapy soon. This is a very aggressive cancer. They believe the tumor has been there since she first started showing signs of sickness in June and she has been misdiagnosed by several doctors who didn't take the time to research and just passed her off to the next doctor. My dad is the only one who can work and they are on there last leg trying to do everything they can for my brother Nathan and I. The money will be used to cover medical expenses such as medical bills, chemotherapy treatments, medication, groceries and all other household bills. I am trying to help my parents by getting a job but transportation is hard with one parent doing everything. I know there is good people out there! Our family has been a huge part of the Beech Grove community for years. My dad has coached me and my brother as well as so many other kids in this community. My mom donates any type of clothing or food when she can, and this will be a good karma if this comes through! Please share and donate we are in desperate need of ANY help!
Thank you!
