Connor is 11 years old.  On 6-26-14 Connor was rushed to the E.R. by his mother.  He had lower abdomen pain and a high fever.  This came out of nowhere.  With further testing at the E.R. a large mass was discovered.  He was then transported to a Children’s Hospital.   He has gone through surgery the very day he arrived on 6-27-14, to drain fluid from his chest and biopsy the mass.  He has had a chest tube in, due to him producing fluid.  He has had surgery on 7-2-14 for his bone marrow to be tested and a port to be put in his chest so he can start chemo therapy and radiation and has had his chest tube removed thank fully.

 

            Connor’s cancer is malignant.  The doctors now know it's a soft tissue sarcoma called synovial sarcoma.  He has stage 3 cancer.  Connor has had a lot of other testings a bone scan, echo of his heart, x rays every day to monitor his fluid, lots of blood tests daily, MRI, CT scans, and chemo and radiation therapy.  No child should have to go through this.

 

            The purpose of this funding being started is to assist in the mounting financial burdens.  Connor is going to have to stay in the hospital alot for chemo over the next year, and any other emergencies.  We are asking that you donate whatever you are able to.  No matter how small for Connor’s stay in the hospital, medical costs, recovery, transportation, any bills  that incur to ensure Connor a stable home.  I will post updates as I can.  Please keep Connor in your prayers and thank you all for your support.
