Aylmer/Gatineau Flood Victims 2019

The 2019 Spring floods in Aylmer and Gatineau have decimated a section of town.  Many families have been forced to leave their homes. While some have insurance, many others and those renting do not. Money raised has been ear-marked for flood victims in the local area and will be disseminated by the Salvation Army Processing centre.
The priority will be those in Aylmer, in particular those in the Deschenes and Fraser Beach areas.  

As a long time resident of Aylmer, and former local business owner, I realize it is our duty to help those in need.   I (Colin Clarke) feel this is a way to give back to our community and to those friends and acquaintances who need this help.

While I know many of the people in the affected areas, I don't know their insurance or financial situations, therefore all donations will be sent to the Salvation Army who have agreed to distribute the money as needed in this local area.  

Thanks, lets help out those who need it, someday it may be our time of need and I'd hope people come through like I expect all of us will.
