Donation protected
Yoelvis Gattorno lost his wife on March 2, 2018. She passed away while giving birth due to a medical condition known as placenta acreta. Unfortunately, he was not able to see his wife for one last time. He is currently in Cuba, anxiously awaiting the approval of his humanitarian parole to be able to meet his daughter, Valeria. Yoelvis is receiving legal representation pro-bono but we are collecting funds to help him with expenses related to his case, cost of traveling and other expenses he might have while he is here in the United States.
I met Yoelvis Gattorno on March 5, 2018. Yoelvis is a member of my church. I went to Cuba to open a shipment we had sent with donations in December to help nursing homes and children with disabilities in Cuba. Yoelvis and Rev. Jose Ariel Rodriguez had traveled from Santa Clara to Habana to try to find some help for Yoelvis whom have just lost his wife Yarisleydis Cuba Rodriguez. Yoelvis was asking for help to come to the United States so he could be united with his daughter Valeria. He was desperate and we were determined to help him. Since my return to Miami, I have been helping Yoelvis ans his attorneys with everything we can. We already have a place for him to stay until he can return to Cuba. We are gathering clothes and other essentials for his daughter.
We created this account to help him cover expenses related to traveling, court fees, immigration fees, and pay back funeral costs. We also wanted to raise funds so he could buy all the essentials items he will need to take his daughter back to Cuba. We intend to give him the funds of all of your donations so he can use it for all of these expenses.
