Azalea Trail Maid dress needed for Ashlan

The family of Ashlan Broadus is very excited to announce that she has been selected as a member of the 2019-2020 Azalea Trail Court in which she will serve as an “Offical Ambassador” for the city of Mobile, Alabama. This is a high honor which will provide Ashlan with opportunities & memories that could last a lifetime. We are all so very proud of her!
We have opened this Go Fund Me account so that we may help Ashlan be able to participate in all activities. Along with this high honor comes a high price tag. Azalea Trail Maids wear absolutely stunning antebellum-style dresses. The base price for the labor of her dress construction is $3500, $800 for Notions, $950 for the fabric selection expense, $100 for pantaloon fabric, $100 for the shoes & having them dyed, and $50 for the specific bra.
Ashlan’s dress maker payment schedule is approximately $400/every other week with the 1st payment due on December 1st & the $950 fabric selection expense fee due on December 6th.
There wouldn’t be a Go Fund Me account if this amount was affordable by any means. So we must swallow our pride & ask for help (& maybe a little begging too).

Now just speaking as Ashlan’s mom.....The thought of Ashlan having come so far & not being able to participate due to not being financially stable breaks my heart into millions of pieces. I don’t want to let her down. Words can’t come close to express the gratitude I would feel for ANY $ donation, big or small. I can only promise to “pay it forward” every opportunity that I am able to do so.
