Don & Patti Ellis (b2mom & b2dad) of our venture rider family have Always been great supporters of St. Jude and many other charities and fundraisers over the years and it's time for a little return.
Patti was involved in a single-vehicle accident Sunday, April 30th while running an errand with their Dually truck and is in the Hospital in Lexington Sc.
she has no broken bones or internal injuries and will be on the mend very quickly.
She has some air bag burns and seat belt bruises and they are running some more test.She and Don seem to be in good spirits and the safety equipment in the truck did a wonderful job of saving our friends life.
The truck is a total loss and I am sure that Insurance will be a big help in the days to come, but... as most of us know from experience, the insurance will always come up short and there will be several un planned bills in the immediate future and I /we could be a big help to getting them back on the road to visiting al the Venture rider members across the country.
I know I will catch he-double hockey sticks for doing this and I can take the heat because we love Don & Patti.
