SBC Youth Leadership Conference

Tax deductible
I am writing this letter in hopes that you will extend a kind donation to our organization, the Blue Wellness Foundation. The Blue Wellness Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational opportunities through fundraising efforts.

As of 2015, the Blue Wellness Foundation has gifted nearly $20,000 in scholarships towards graduating seniors in Prince William County, VA. As a subsidiary of the Omicron Zeta Sigma chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated, the Foundation is seeking help in raising funds to support Phi Beta Sigma’s mentoring group, the Sigma Beta Club (males ages 8-18), in attending a three-day youth leadership conference in
Boston, MA, April 2016.

We all know the power of education and how an unfed mind can lead to a starving existence. Therefore, our organization exposes the club members to pursuits outside of their norm. Thus, allowing them to dream bigger than their current surroundings.

We ask you to kindly extend your donation towards our Foundation to help the Sigma Beta Club in their quest to attend this conference. Our goal is to raise $5,450 to cover the transportation cost of the charter bus that will carry all Sigma Beta Club members from the state of Virginia to Boston.

We share an EIN with the Phi Beta Sigma National Foundation: 52-2289236. You will receive a donation receipt from the Blue Wellness Foundation for a charitable tax deduction as well.

We have no cut off timeline for donations, but do ask if you plan on giving to please do so by 01 April 2016.

We would sincerely appreciate your generous help towards this noble cause.
