Auto Expenses

Hello, my name is Tracy.  I am the mother of two wonderful girls, ages 10 and 12.  I am a twice-survivor of Leukemia.

My present situation is that I fell behind in my car payments because my ex-husband stopped paying child support in June. Realizing that I had to start working a second job, I started as soon as I was able to find a job  that would allow me to work my first job also.

On December 9 2015, without notice, Toyota Finance, picked up my car and repossessed it.  I live outside of Atlanta, Georgia and if you don't have a vehicle, then you cannot get anywhere.  I explained my situation to Toyota, and that I was going to pay them up-to-date on the 31 st of December, but Toyota Finance said that once a car goes into default, the only way that you can get your car back is by paying the total amount that is due on the vehicle plus impound fees.

Therefore, I am requesting assistance with paying for my vehicle, my only form of transportation which is now in the amount of $9,641.41.  As of today, 12/31/2015 I have officially lost my car.  Therefore I am without a car to go to and from work.  Taking Uber every where is costing me more that I can afford.

This is my main reason for asking for help because I have to go from my home to my day job, Ophthalmolgy Center  that begins at 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., then to my second job , Grocery Store, which begins at 6:00 p.m. ends at 11:00 p.m. at night.  Saturday and Sundays, I work 8 hour shifts. Therefore, I am working one or both jobs 7 days a week.

Please, if you will, help the girls and I  get back on our feet with a form of transportation. Otherwise, our lives may go into a downward spiral.  The girls don't deserve that kind of life, and I am more than willing to work as much as necessary in order to keep our lives from going out of control.

Although I am terribly exhausted all of the time, I will always do whatever I need to do to help my daughters and maintain a roof over our heads. Obviously, I have had harder battles to fight so this is just another hill to get over, but with a little help from some guardian angels, it might not be as difficult as it is right now.

Thank you for whatever you are willing and able to do to help us.

Sincerely,
Tracy Valenzuela
