David Gruber and family

David is having the removal and biopsy of an anterior mediastinal lesion , a tumor between his sternum and heart. They will have to break his sternum (chest bone) to do this. They have also done a pet scan to determine what the nodules are that are showing up in his lungs. Due to the severity of this surgery and possibly more procedures, they are saying he will be off work approximately 12 weeks or longer.
This comes at a very bad time, as his wife Mauricia, is currently pregnant and off work on bed rest due to a subchorionic hemorrhage from the placenta. And they have recently found out that the baby may have a neural tube defect (spina bifida). She will be seeing a maternal fetal specialist in Toledo to determine if that's the case. Any help is greatly appreciated at this time due to the fact there will be no income to the household. This my friend Bonnie Gruber's son and she has helped me out tremendously when we lost Les and our family went through some trying times. If you can not help out with money contact me because we are also organizing meals for the family for the next couple of weeks.
