Baby OK's mission is to reduce the statistics of infant and child mortality from heatstroke by creating a new habit for parents, grandparents and caregivers & offering peace of mind for parents.
Our app protoype is ready to go, but we need funding to develop phase one of the app and to get on iTunes and Google play store...and in order to keep the app FREE and available for people from all walks of life, we need corporate sponsors.
Baby OK was designed to be a simple, yet efficient reminder tool. With large buttons and automatic alerts via bluetooth connection in your vehicle, Baby OK will be your accountability partner when it comes to a baby or child in the vehicle. Created by a mom of 4 who knows the chaos of life with kids, Baby OK is the perfect tool for baby sitters, big brother/sister or grandma who may be driving with baby. Baby OK is activated with Bluetooth and runs in the background while you are driving (we don't want any distractions). Your alert comes when Bluetooth turns off. Don't have Bluetooth? Baby OK also can be used manually and we are working on a GPS functionality.
On average, there are 37 child fatalities annually in the US from being left in a vehicle. In 2016, there were 39 and to date in 2017 there have been 5.
