Baby Adonaiah Larsen

Donation protected
This campaign is being set up by friends and family of Ian and Raelyn Larsen and their baby boy due in a few weeks,  Adonaiah.

Here is their story.

On Friday, November 13th Ian and Raelyn found out that their son, Adonaiah, due in a few weeks, was diagnosed with a condition called congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) . (http://www.chop.edu/ conditions-diseases/ congenital-diaphragmatic- hernia-cdh#.VktGt3arSUl)

While a life threatening and serious condition, CDH also has huge and thriving success rate. They believe their son will live and will grow to be a healthy child, despite the potentially challenging road that lay ahead for them. They praise God for the discovery of their baby's condition, because apart from God they are unsure if this would have been detected. They, their midwives, nurses, family, friends have all marveled in thankfulness at the time they been given to address this in both prayer and medical care to do all to assure Adonaiah's well being.

With their journey just beginning, Ian and Raelyn have made the difficult decision through prayer and the wisdom of their medical advisors to move their care to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), a leading research and pediatric hospital in fetal/ neo-natal conditions and CHD in particular. Their first appointment with CHOP is on November 23rd.

While they continue to trust and believe God for His divine intervention, provision and a creative miracle, we'd like to present an opportunity for family and friends who'd like to do something more to assist their family financially to help cover some of the initial costs of their travel to and from CHOP and basic cost of living expenses, until more is known and available programs and insurance fall into place. We'd like to ease this burden for them during this initial time. We realize that this comes during the holiday season when things can be tighter than normal, however, please prayerfully consider contributing to this support for the Larsens.  To stay connect and up to date on their journey, Raelyn has begun a blog called “Living in Flux”
