Baby Gender Reveal

Go Fund Me

Hello! We are starting this campaign at the request of my beloved step daughter, Haley Combs and her boyfriend, Dan Baird.

Haley and Danny have a daughter, Madelyn, who is five years old. They are expecting a second child on Christmas day.

When Haley and Danny were expecting Madelyn, they were terribly low on funds. The Coshocton VA in Coshocton, Ohio helped them out a couple of times with gift cards to a local grocery store so that they didn’t have to go without food. They were also able to stock up on necessary baby supplies like diapers and bottles.

Haley wants to return the favor and has asked that we assist her with starting a campaign where all the money collected will go to the Coshocton VA. She wants to give back to the Coshocton VA who helped her when she was in need so that they can continue to support people who need a little help just like she did when she was expecting her first child.

You want something for your money, though, right?

Well, here’s the deal. Haley and Danny have chosen to not find out their baby’s gender until she or he is born. But other people want to know. Like her father and I. We really want to know.

Haley had an ultrasound. The nurse called and told me  the gender. So, now I know, but they don’t. You want to know the gender? Here’s your chance.

If you make a donation, no matter how small, you will receive an email telling you whether or not Madelyn is getting a baby brother or a baby sister. Madelyn really wants a sister. She has decided if she gets a brother, that his name should be Pickles.

Haley is aware that by doing this, there is a risk that she will learn the sex of the baby before giving birth, but she really is hoping to avoid that, so here are the rules:

-- Don’t tell Haley the sex of the baby after you find out.

-- Don’t tell Danny the sex of the baby after you find out

-- Don’t tell Madelyn the sex of the baby after you find out.

-- Don’t tell ANYONE the sex of the baby after you find out. You donated to find out. Anyone else who wants to know needs to make their own donation to find out

Seriously, don’t tell Haley, Danny or Madelyn. They don’t want to know.

Do you want to spoil Madelyn’s Christmas surprise?

Seriously. It’s Christmas.

-- Don’t make references on social media that you find clever. Like telling Haley that you feel blue today . Or ask her if she’s tickled pink to be pregnant. You get the drift. Chances are, she will break your clever code and then the surprise will be ruined.

-- Don’t buy or make gender specific gifts and give it to them or post pictures on social media before the baby is born. Haley and Danny are going to have a “meet and greet” shower after baby Pickles arrives.

-- Don’t tell Dan the sex of the baby, even if he asks.

-- Don’t tell your kids the sex of the baby. Kids are terrible at keeping secrets.

There is ONE exception to these rules.

If you donate $1000.00 dollars toward Haley and Danny’s donation to the Coshocton VA, then you buy the right to spoil Haley and Danny’s surprise. Haley really doesn’t want to know, but agrees that a sizable donation would be worth ruining the surprise.

Haley and Danny are grateful for your support! Thank you so much for your donation to the Coshocton VA.

After you donate, we will send you a thank you note through gofundme and in the note we will tell you the gender of Madelyn's sibling.

Thank you,

Michelle Combs
