We all need some good news, so here it is!!

 

 We are delighted to announce that we have secured funding from Leader to complete stage 2 of the plan for Ballyconneely Community Park. This plan includes:

 

Running a track around the perimeter of the park.
Install goal posts with sleeves for  removal when needed. 
Adding seating/picnic area
Complete tarmacadam and build a boundary  wall at the entrance to the park. 
Installing a shed
Installing all ducting and prepare the area for floodlights(Phase 3).
Landscaping to enhance the beauty of our village.
 

 

The overall cost of Phase 2 is 173,000  of which we will receive 130,000 from the Leader programme. This means we must raise 43,000 to complete phase 2. Thankfully our fundraising efforts and that of others, on behalf of the park were very successful last year. However  we are again asking  the community’s and those who frequently visit our area, for support in completing this stage. We had hoped to hold several fundraisers throughout the year but Covid 19 has changed these plans.

 

So please help us out and give what you can, every few euro will bring us closer to our goal.
