Banjo Neal James And Rosemary

Donation protected
Through the years Neal James, commonly known as Banjo Neal or The Banjo Man, or even Turtleman's right hand man has been putting joy on the faces of many of his fans, friends and family.  Travelling countless miles just to put a smile on a young childs face struggling from impossible consequences.  Bring hope to communities affected by destruction. Neal knows the true meaning of sacrifice.  He is sound and secure with his beliefs and believes wholeheartedly in the strength of prayer.  With medical emergencies comes trying financial times.  Not having the ability to travel and meet with his fans will put a tremendous financial toll on Neal and his lovely wife Rosemary. When a fiend or family or even a fan was in need, Neal was sure to stop what he was doing and do his best to bring  compassion or even make sure everyone knows about the needs of that individual or their community.   Folks who truly know Neal know that being on a hit TV Show ain't gonna make you rich.  Neal has and will always remain the humble man I've always known.  He was forever remain grounded in his beliefs regardless of his obstacles.  As a good friend, I can honestly say he the most genuine human I've ever known. Bottom line: Neal has been there for you, now Neal needs a little help from his friends.  I would like to humbly and urgently ask for any donation you cold possibly spare.  These funds will help Neal and his family deal with impending medical costs as well as continued care.   I can assure that 100% of the proceeds will go directly to Neal. RParsons Here are some of the devastating posts from the past few weeks regarding the health and well being of our good buddy:   October 12, 2017 **********A long post ********** This is Rosemary Pearson James, Neal's wife. I have waited until I had all the information from the doctor before posting. Neal had a heart attack today. He was initially at Haggin Hospital in Harrodsburg waiting to be transferred to Central Baptist in Lexington. He went into V-fib requiring the use of a defibrillator twice to restart his heart. Because he was medically unstable and fragile,  he was unable to be transferred to Lexington. He was transferred immediately to Ephriam McDowell in Danville where a cardiologist and team were waiting. He was taken directly into the cath lab for 2 1/2 hours, where he was stented and small blood vessel opened (probable cause of V-fib). He had to have his heart restarted twice again while in the cath lab. The cardiologist said the next 24 hours are critical.  Neal's heart is permanently damaged, he is not a candidate for another heart bypass or surgical intervention. The cardiologist said the only thing that can be done is medications, lifestyle changes and the elimination of stress.  Currently Neal is resting in ICU, he will be here for 2-3 days then transferred to the floor for 2-3 days, then hopefully discharged home.  We know there are a multitude of family, friends and fans who are concerned. However visitors are limited to family at this time, and for 5 minute intervals at this time. As Neal is medically stable I know he will welcome everyone.  Neal and I are strong believers in prayer. Please pray for Neal diligently and add him to any and all pray groups.  I will update as more information is available. I'm sorry I won't be able to respond to everyone individually.  I hope I have answered all questions. Thank you for your understanding. Neal and Rosemary October 13, 2017 ** Update ** Neal did well through the night. Vitals up and down but stable. He had an echocardiogram this morning. Cardiologist came in a few minutes ago and touched on what interventions were done. Neal will have to go home with a life vest. It is designed to shock his heart back in rhythm if he goes into V-fib again. Neal is reluctant about the life vest. If everything continues to go well, hopefully we will be home by Sunday. Neal is in and out of sleeping. Talking and aggravating as usual when awake. He is still very weak. Thank everyone for their prayers. Please continue to pray. As Neal says "Jesus Rock" October 15, 2017 *** Update on Neal *** Neal was moved out of ICU into a room on cardiac floor yesterday afternoon works!! He has been sitting at the edge of bed and was able to walk to and from the bathroom this morning. He was exhausted afterwards. He was fitted with his life vest this morning. Yes, he's being a bear about it. The cardiologist said if he continues to do well and gets up walking in the hallway he can go home tomorrow. Continued prayers that Neal continues to do well, can tolerate walking, and gets to go home soon.  Everyone here has been extremely nice and helpful, but there's no place like home.  When we get home and have a couple days to get settled in, I'm sure Neal will be back on Facebook, phone calls and short visits.  I'm sorry I can't keep up with Neal's phone, messages or Facebook. My primary focus is on him and his health and resting when I can. Thank you for your prayers and continued prayers. "Jesus Rocks" In addition to the Gofundme site, other ways of helping Neal is to get or give the gift of his music and/ or enjoy the passion he wishes to bless everyone with, and that is learning to play the banjo.    Learn to Play Banjo Neal's Music on Amazon Neal James - The Banjo Man Facebook Neal's Music on Google Play Neal's music on iTunes Neal's YouTube playlist (In Depth)
