Barbara has a Bee Problem
Donation protected
Hello friends, family and acquaintances!
Our names are Patrick McCarthy, Joaquin Luque, and Andrew Tobar, and we are filmmakers from the University of Miami. We are also the producers for our upcoming horror short: “Barbara has a Bee Problem.” We are excited to be working with the incredible Amy Hoerler as our lead actress, and are asking for donations of any amount to contribute to a number of things. But first…
Barbara has a Bee Problem. After 20 long years, she’s been hired to write the reboot of her own film. As she attempts to get back on her feet to rewrite the cult classic ’Attack of the Hive Mind,’ she is haunted by characters from both the original and the reboot, all stemming from a mysterious beehive she’s found in her yard.
For our film, we are building an entire room including two walls, the set of a deranged laboratory, and 2 monster costumes. We are also contracting a makeup specialist, will need food for actors on our three shoot days, and are having to purchase numerous props including a typewriter, gallons of Honey, and the costumes for the actors.
No bees will be harmed in the making of this picture! Any amount is appreciated, and if you’re considering donating and would like further information about the budget and where your money will be going, don’t hesitate to contact us at:
