Sarajevo Champions Trophy 2019

Newcastle Benfield Juniors was established in 2015 by Chairman Mark Rooke and Vice Chairman Ged Forster to train and develop young footballers in a safe and friendly environment. Starting with 17 squads they have since grown to an impressive 38 teams in age groups ranging from 6-17, becoming the fastest growing grassroots club in the country operated 100% by volunteers!

Not only does Mark give a considerable amount of time dealing with the administration of the club but he also runs the under 11 San Siro team. Providing structured fun sessions, the boys have developed into some of the best players in the league. In fact, the whole team have recently been selected for their respective county football teams. This is a huge achievement for all the boys but also a testament to the standard of training they receive every week.

This year we hope to take the boys to the Barcelona Football Festival, where they will have the opportunity to compete with 100 teams from 15 countries. In order to achieve this dream we need to raise a staggering £5000! As a registered charity the club relies heavily on donations and fundraising and we can't do this without your support.
