Bash fights Cancer

7 months ago we welcomed our beautiful son Sebastian to the world. He is a sweet, happy little boy, curious about everything around him. We have enjoyed watching him grow and discover so much these past months and cannot imagine life without him.
On December 30th we took Sebastian to emergency in Saskatoon for stomach pains, and early the next morning we recieved news that no parent wants to hear. Our tiny little baby has Cancer, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
In the blink of an eye life became uncertain, our futures were put on hold. Hopes and dreams became thoughts of the next moment, the next breath Sebastian would take, and the next hopeful piece of news.
That night the doctors sedated him, put in a breathing tube, and started him on dialysis to stabilize him. After three days of trying unsuccessfully to lower his white blood cell count, the decision was made to take an air ambulance to Alberta Children's Hospital in Calgary to recieve treatment not available in Saskatoon. On January 8th Sebastian started chemotherapy treatments and began his battle with this disease.
So many have asked, “what can I do?” and we have been overwhelmed by the support from family and friends. We are so fortunate to have you all with us on our journey ahead.
We setup this gofundme page for those who want to help Sebastian battle this disease over the next few years. Life for Bash will never, ever be the same. The word Cancer will be with us forever. Your generosity, big or small, is a precious gift and will be treasured by our family.
