Eric Bateman's Cancer Treatment
Donation protected
Perhaps, nothing shocks a person more than being diagnosed with cancer. Nothing causes a person to reflect back on their life until something threatens it. Nothing reveals someone's character more than when faced with adversity. Eric Bateman, who has been a true friend to many in this community, a loyal and hard working employee of The Valley Club for 15 years, was diagnosed with stage three colon cancer in mid-April. His treatments will involve aggressive radiation, surgery and months of chemotherapy. The journey is expected to be long and difficult and even though Eric does have some insurance, it won't cover everything.
We are asking for help, because he never would. Your donations will cover transportation, lodging, food, lost wages and out of pocket medical expenses that come along with battling a life threatening disease.
As Eric faces cancer both physically and emotionally, his character, loyalty, and selflessness remain unchanged. He wants to continue to work. He wants to continue to be surrounded by his friends and family, and he wants to continue to be the rock that people depend on, and he doesn't want to let any one of us down.
If you can help, any donation will mean a great deal to ensure that we can take care of Eric the way he has taken care of us.
