Journey To American Ninja Warrior

Hi there friends, family and supporters! For those of you that don't know me, my name is Stephen G Seiver, I am 36 years old, a 13 year military vet, father to 3 amazing boys, and soon to be competitor on American Ninja Warrior 8. My journey really started about 5 years ago after going through a painful divorce that sent me into an alcohol induced spiral that led to drug use and some very poor, almost fatal, decisions. 1 year and 10 months ago I decided to take control of my life and made the decision to get sober. Since then I have dedicated my life to health and fitness through functional body movement and have began to inspire many others to change their lives. Through some encouragement and convincing I decided to take a shot and it just so happens that the producers of ANW8 loved me and my story. Though my focus and dedication has pushed me farther than I ever thought was possible I had to make some sacrifices along the way. I have found my self in a bit of a financial burden so am checking my pride and reluctantly reaching out for help. Please help me to raise money for my competition as I desperately need a new pair of shoes and some extra funds for travel expenses and food. I truly believe that I have what it takes to win this competition and that this will all open up many doors for my future. I just need to get through it all first. So here is my plea.
