After life-changing brain surgery, Becca will be faced with bills, insurance complications, and unmet needs. Will you help support those needs with a contribution and share with your friends?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Our friend Becca Jungers has has a roller coaster of a month. Over the past months, Becca began having headaches that would wake her up in the middle of the night, bring her to her knees mid-day and make her question what her new normal would be. It was a throbbing pain that would start in the back of her head and quickly but surely wrap around to the front of her head with an unbearable pulse. Much like a fire truck you can hear coming around the corner and, before you know it, it’s on your front step.

So she went to the eye doctor. They examined her eyes and saw nothing too peculiar upon initial inspection. Upon further inspection through dilation, a swollen and pressurized optic nerve was uncovered. She was sent immediately across the street to the hospital for a CT scan from the ER. Her results from this were ones that never leave someone the same: A large mass was found in the back of her brain. They didn’t know if it was cancerous, they didn’t know if it was anywhere else in my body and they didn’t know how long it had been there.

She was immediately life-flighted by helicopter to receive an MRI from another hospital where she was to remain on medication to help with swelling and pain until surgery.  It was determined that the best surgeons were at Barnes Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis.

Surgery was Oct 19th, 2018. Becca rolled down the hallway to the operating room blasting Tom Petty's 'I Won't Back Down.' Brave and bold, she entered the operating room with deep confidence in the Great Physician. After 20 hours, Becca was done with surgery and resting. While Becca lost hearing in her right ear, doctors were able to successfully avoid nerves affecting the right side of her face and body, a blessing from God.

The next stage for Becca is recovery. There will be bills, insurance complications, medications/needs that insurance won't cover, and more. She maintains remarkable confidence in God's ability to provide for her through any means necessary.

Will you consider supporting Becca's financial needs for surgery and recovery?

"God is my rock, my king, my best friend and when I heard this news for the first time, I had peace, strength, hope, comfort and power flooding into my heart. I had no time to feel alone or powerless. My God was with me. This mass will be a masterpiece." - Becca Jungers
