Belize Children's Initiative

I have enrolled in a volunteer program in Belize called The Belize Initiative for Children.  It is part of the Global Leadership Adventures Organization. They send high school students all over the world to help build and strengthen countries and communities that need it the most. My trip will be focused on teaching the children of Belize.

I will be:
-Leading educational English camps for Belizean youths.
Using experiential learning tools to improve children’s literacy.
-Learning firsthand about the struggle that Belize faces in finding a balance between attracting tourism revenue and preserving the region.
-Providing an accessible summer camp focused on youth literacy and empowerment through education.

This program is a wonderful opportunity to help children become interested and involved in learning.  It will take place from July 31 – August 14, 2017. The tuition is $3,499. This is where I need your help! I would greatly appreciate even the smallest of donations, anything helps.
