Help Secure Our Beloved Home
In Loving Memory of my Mother, Rosemary Wagner.
In 2006, my son (Zane), my mom (Rosemary), my husband at the time, my stepson, and I moved to Olympia, WA from Milwaukee, WI. It was a dream come true for all of us.
We have gone through many changes in that time. But our love for our town, our neighborhood, and our home remains the same.
My marriage split up in 2011, and my son's father has since left the country. My stepson moved out of state to live with his mom.
My mom, my son, and I continued to live in this home and do our best to improve it and serve the community. In 2012, we added an edible forest garden. We have taken in roommates in need of healing and shelter. We have had numerous spiritual and healing circles here. This is the only home my son has ever really known.
On May 21st, 2015, my mom passed away. It was her wish that Zane and I be able to stay in the home we love so much and continue the work we do here. Without her monthly financial contribution, that will be a challenge.
I AM up to that challenge and will do all I can to make this work. And part of that is being vulnerable to accept help when people offer. So, this is the help we need. We want to secure our beloved home.
Because Zane has been unschooled for the past 4 years, it is very important to us both that I continue to work mostly from home. I have a coaching and healing practice to which I will be devoting more time and energy. I have been working on welcoming the right roommates. And I am looking into other options. I have faith that all is well. And help is welcome.
The first phase of this campaign is a memorial to my mother, Rosemary Wagner. It was her wish in her final days that we be able to stay in our home. Initial gifters will receive thank yous with memorial cards once I have them.
When I feel able and ready, I will also begin to offer my services here as rewards for giving. I will be building my practice as I achieve this very important goal. It is one way for me to achieve all our dreams and give to the world in the process.
Thank you for reading this. I will be posting more soon.
