Helping rural communities in Peru

Hello, my name is Ben Willis and I'm fundraising to help communities in Peru in the summer of 2018.

The money I aim to raise will enable me to contribute to projects for rural communities. I will work on building classrooms, greenhouses, improving sanitation and helping environmental projects.

I realise that I am privileged living in a country like England where healthcare is free and we have free education. However in Peru people are not so fortunate and are only living on £1.54 a day, also 28% of children are working instead of in education. I am looking forward to working in these communities to help improve their lives and self-sufficiency.

I will have saved enough for my air fare through working and have set myself the target of £2,500 to enable me to work and contribute on the various community project during the time I am in Peru. I am aiming to raise this money by the end of 2017 so I can then focus on my GCSE exams.
