My name is Jonathan Lowe and I have been a part of the Bermuda Basketball Association (BBA) since the age of 16. The BBA has afforded me the opportunity to play in various countries around the world such as Canada, the Caribbean islands and Europe. Being a part of this organization/charity has enabled me to give back to my country via international FIBA tournaments, coaching and development of youth players in the island of Bermuda, community clean up days and events.
Unfortunately, we do not receive any government funding, placing the financial burden on our shoulders. We are responsible for air fare, accommodations, food and fees.
Please support myself and two of my teammates as we look to compete in the Dominican Republic. We will face Dominican Republic's professional teams and top universities. The cost for flight, accommodations, food, and tournament fees is roughly $1,000 per player. Please help and assist in any way you can. No amount is too small.
