Bianca Muniz, is one of the most selfless people I have ever met. She is a dreamer with a heart of gold, a vocalist with a love for music, a sister with a passion for family, but most importantly, she is a fighter who has never given up.
I met Bianca for the first time in November. I was not only touched by her story, but immensely impacted by the way she loved to live.
At the age of 11, she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Her family, being the incredibly supportive and positive family I know, kept her in high spirits throughout the entire process. " When I was in the hospital, I remember being surrounded by friends and family. We would have "P" parties where everything had to start with a P. We would wear pajamas, eat Penne a la vodka, pizza, watch movies that started with the letter P, and just have a great time. Everyone would squish into my little hospital room and enjoy each other's company. I feel really blessed to have family and friends that are so incredibly supportive. They definitely made the experience so much better."
Right before Bianca came to visit her sister, Jacqueline Muniz (my bestfriend), she got THE call.

Bianca, was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Breast cancer. Double Mastectomy. 22 Years old.

My heart, of course broke when I saw her. I was hurting for her, her family, and for her pain. Instead of sulking, and being so upset about having cancer again, Bianca chose LIFE. When she was with us she was ready to go out and conquer the world. She knew that this was God's plan, and everything happened for a reason. She is so strong.
I am starting this gofundme page because of her most recent blog post. I started to read it, and I could not help but burst into tears. Bianca, is currently in her 9th treatment of chemo.
In the latest post, she wrote, " I'm going to be honest with you, I had a pretty rough night last night.
Yesterday I went in to receive my 9th chemo, and found out that my blood count was too low to receive treatment. The doctors really didn't want to give me neupogen shots (immune boosters) since I've already had an incredible amount of chemo in my life, for fear of an increased chance of leukemia. I was so incredibly bummed out. I had planned out the next couple of months around the fact that I was supposed to have chemo every Friday for 12 weeks. Then, later in the day I got emails from my credit card bills saying my payments were coming up. Oh my goodness, cue the panic attack. I've only been working once a week teaching voice and piano lessons at guitar center for a couple of hours. I'm not able to work more than that because of how tired I am, but my bills are piling up and I started feeling like I was drowning and there wasn't anything I could do about it. I texted my mom explaining my fears and what was going on and she said we'd figure it out."

She is going through so so much right now... along with her family. Her whole family works incredibly hard, and they all have hearts of pure gold.

I am starting this page to raise money for Bianca. I want her to have the money so she will not have to work right now. I want her to be able to focus on getting better, and not have to focus on how she is going to have to pay the next bill. Bianca, of all the people in the world, deserves it. She is strong, but she is human, and still struggles with this tough battle everyday.
Even if you can only donate a dollar, EVERY dollar adds up. It would mean the world to me, and Bianca, I am sure.
