Bike To Fight Cancer

Unfortunately, we all know someone that has been diagnosed and may have even lost their battle with Cancer. Because of the inherent dangers that Firefighters/ Paramedics face on a daily basis we are exposed to known and unknown carcinogens. While many of our Brothers and Sisters are surviving in remission and leading normal productive lives , the fact remains that our calling to serve has taken far to many of us from our family  and friends. This is a groundbreaking effort for ALL OF US to make a difference in the lives of of the men and women of The Chicago Fire Department and to be there for them when they need us most. 
The Ignite The Spirit Cancer Fund was created with the idea of financially helping our members when they are faced with battling  Cancer. It may come in the form of money to help with medical costs or something as simple as meals delivered to Try to help with their Fight. If we can relieve, even a small amount of stress during their treatment it is our hope this will give them MORE STRENGTH TO FIGHT these horrible diseases.
